AEOLUS and ABK sponsored The India 2nd National Grooming Competition 2018

National Dog Grooming Competition held at pune was one of the most renowned event happened over the time. 32 Participants took part in the event from all over India with their small to big, fluffy to velvety, woolly to gooey dogs. The competition had a Pure Breed & Freestyle Dog Grooming Competition and Model Dog World Qualifying Championship. Participants were competing against each other to be a member of World Indian model dog team. Prizes worth 15 lacs were given from ABK Imports. The judge, Tammy Colbert having the experience of 35 years in grooming the dogs is a certified master groomer and had won quite a lot of high profiled competitions with her dogs and Judge, Karla Addington Smith with a career span of 40 years is an award winning National certified master groomer serving as an educational director, writer and speaker owns a salon named ‘A Fortunate Dog’, flew all the way from US to give tips and procedures to the contestants. They evaluated and conciliated all the dogs very attentively and gave each of them the Certificate of Appreciation and medal.

All pet professionals were welcomed at this wonderful event. All that was needed an interest in improving the knowledge, handling and care of pets. The National Dog Grooming Competition 2018 took place at the beautiful Balkrishna Lawns, Pune. Guests enjoyed the top groomers showing their talent and skills in the competition arena.

There were over 65 students each day in the seminar. They got the opportunity to clarify their queries, it was almost a never ending session. People were delighted and eager to learn from renowned educational directors. They shared their gracious and crummy experiences with the dogs and elucidated all of their doubts. Model dog seminar was a hands-on training which helped the students to work practically and learn new techniques and tricks on grooming the dog. New things can’t be tested on live dogs, which made model dog a fabulous tool to study on. The Day 2 Seminar was on learning new time saving techniques while you are bathing, clipping or styling the dog. The seminar was conducted on live dog of one of the participant. Watching the live dog groomed created curiosity to learn more and practice harder. Participants asked to keep doing these seminars as they enjoyed this fun learning education method a lot.
